We had a great experience at Red Bench Pizza tonight. The food was delicious and fresh - being scratch/house-made really makes a wonderful difference! The marinara sauce was full of fresh flavor and perfect for the cheese bread which was the lightest I think I've had. The pizza (half Hulk, half Diana Ross) had the handcrafted look, feel, and taste! The cannolis for dessert were the perfect end! Our server (Taylor) did a great job, she was very attentive, anticipated our needs, gave good feedback on menu items, and made us feel welcome. We really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and can't wait to go back!

Great lunch special! We got a pizza/salad and a Grinder. The grinder had an olive mix that added depth! Added even more interest by dipping it in balsamic from the salad and oh my it was fantastic! Balboa was our pizza of choice and it was good! We both thought it lacked something to round out the flavor but couldn’t put our finger on what... all in all we would visit again next time we’re in the area.

I had the rigatoni with spicy vodka sauce special. Because it was a special it came with a nice sized salad of leafy greens. It also came with garlic bread. The sauce was too spicy for me but if you like spicy, you will enjoy this dish. My friend got the chicken fettuccine alfredo. It only came with garlic bread. She paid extra for a Caesar side salad which was quite large. She liked her meal. We shared a cannelloni dessert. Three small cannelloni with a delicious filling. No chocolate chips in the filling Instead a small bit of chocolate drizzled over the top. Also on the plate was a big dollop of whipped cream with Marsciano cherries on top. The cannelloni shells were very cold and hard. I loved the filling and the whipped cream but I didn't like the cold hard shells. This was the first time I have had cannelloni. When I got home, i looked up recipes to see what goes into the filling. That's how I learned the filling usually has chocolate chips. I liked the filling without the chocolate chips. I think the shells are supposed to be light and crispy. I'm guessing the restaurant keeps the shells in the freezer. I don't see how they could be so hard and cold otherwise. Our server was excellent. She was friendly and checked back on us several times. I will try a different pasta and dessert next time I go to this restaurant.

I wish I had a photo but I scarfed the pizza down before I even thought about a review. I love this place. It maintained the old atmosphere of the former occupying pizzaria and has similar specialty pizzas. I got the pignoli, hold the pignolis and sub with mushrooms. It has a stinky cheese and a fruit chutney so if you love cheese and fruit plates, this is your pizza. The dough is on another level. Yes it's the soft, chewy, flavorful, possibly dislocate your jaw stuff dreams are made of. Best pizza in the valley. In Idaho. Oh and the folks working there are absolutely lovely hard working people. Thank you red bench sorry I forgot to snap a photo. The pie was gorgeous for the few minutes it was on the tray. Update: back again and adding pix!

“Red Bench Pizza doesn’t just serve pizza—they serve life-changing, drop-everything-and-take-another-bite pizza. And the meatballs? So good they might ruin all other meatballs for you. The crust is perfect, the sauce is magic, and the vibe is just right. If you’re not eating here, you’re doing pizza wrong! And their house salads are the best!@

Ok ladies and gentlemen we have a real contender in the ring for Italian food!! Top shelf service, but the food is amazing and not expensive!! Clean, quick service and again the food was so good that I felt bad for the other Italian restaurants in our area. Thank you Red Bench!! We love you guys.

Flew into Boise for the day and wanted some italian food. Everyone knows Yelp is hit or miss on the truly good places, but somehow I stumbled across this place, and boy, it does not dissappoint! They have lunch specials during the week and I got the personal margherita pizza with a simple salad. The flavors of the pizza were amazing, and so was the house salad dressing! The salad was fresh with shavings of parmesan. The atmosphere was cozy and the service from the staff was unprecedented. I plan on coming back here on my next trip. Kudos Red Bench for checking off all the boxes!
